Restored English Translation of Genesis: Chapter 13

Here is the Restored English Translation (RET) of the 13th chapter of Beresheet (Genesis).  As usual, it contains the Hebrew names, with a glossary of them at the end.  At the very end is a list of the places where the Aleph/Tavs occur, as I no longer include them in the main text.
CHAPTER 13
1 And Avram went up out of Mitsrayim, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the Negev. 2 And Avram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold. 3 And he went on his journeys from the Negev even to Beyt-El, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Beyt-El and Ai, 4 to the place of the altar which he made there at the first. And there Avram called on the name of YEHOVAH. 5 And also to Lot, who went with Avram, there was flocks and herds and tents. 6 And the land was not able to bear them, that they might live together; for their substance was great, so that they could not live together. 7 And there was strife between the herdsmen of Avram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. And the Kena’aniy and the Perizziy lived in the land then. 8 And Avram said to Lot, “Please, let there be no strife between me and you, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are brethren. 9 Is not the whole land before you? Please separate yourself from me. If you will take the left, then I will go to the right. Or if you go to the right hand, then I will go to the left.” 10 And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw all the circuit of the Yarden, that it was all well watered (before YEHOVAH destroyed Sedom and Amorrah), even as the Garden of YEHOVAH, like the land of Mitsrayim, as you come to Tso’ar. 11 Then Lot chose for himself all the circuit of the Yarden. And Lot journeyed east, and they separated themselves, the one from his brother. 12 Avram lived in the land of Kena’an, but Lot lived in the land of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sedom. 13 But the men of Sedom were wicked and sinned before YEHOVAH exceedingly. 14 And YEHOVAH said to Avram (after Lot had separated from him), “Lift up your eyes now and look from the place there where you are northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward. 15 For all the land which you see, I will give it to you and to your seed until forever. 16 And I will make your seed as the dust of the earth, so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your seed shall also be numbered. 17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it, for I will give it to you.” 18 Then Avram moved his tent and came and lived by the oaks of Mamre (which is Chevron) and built an altar there to YEHOVAH.
