She married Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark, Duke of Edinburgh (10 June 1921 – 9 April 2021) on 20 November 1947, and they were married until his death; he thus served as Prince consort during her reign. The couple have 4 children together. Elizabeth is head of the House of Windsor, while Philip was a member of the House of Mountbatten, although he was born a member of the House of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg.
