Madeleine McCann: The Parents Did It

Image
The well-publicised case of Madeleine McCann’s alleged disappearance in 2007 in Portugal at the age of 3 recently entered the spotlight again after German police dug up the garden of a convicted paedophile looking for her body. Portugese police initially investigated Madeleine’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, but ultimately dropped the case for lack of evidence, with many now proclaiming that suspicions against the couple are “baseless”, “conspiracy theories”, etc. But, there remains enough evidence against them to make the suspicious against her reasonable, and far from “baseless” – one of the most damning pieces of evidence being highly trained professional sniffer dogs detecting the scent of human blood & cadaver (dead body) in the McCann’s apartment (in multiple places), in their rental car, and on Kate’s clothes.  There’s also conflicting stories from the McCanns and their friends – for example, they first claimed that they checked on their kids every h...

The Church Fathers' REAL Opinion on the Apocrypha

I've mentioned in a couple posts now how Protestant apologists often claim that most of the early Church Fathers explicitly rejected the Apocrypha (also known as the Deuterocanon) - usually naming names such as Origen - when in fact most of them (such as the ones Protestants name) explicitly accepted them as Scripture.  But I haven't actually provided examples (excluding the link in The Canon of Scripture, Part 1: The Apocrypha ). (Note: since I'm not going to list the books of the Apocrypha/Deuterocanon here for those who don't know what they are, I'd suggest taking a quick look at the list at the top of the above link.) FIRST OFF , here are some direct quotes from anti-Apocrypha apologists making this claim, so you can see I'm not taking them out of context: Contrary to the popular proclamations made by Roman Catholic apologists, the most primitive Christians were far from unanimous regarding whether the Apocrypha should be included in the canon of Scriptu...

Paranormal Activity at Cannock Chase

Image
[Sorry for the length.] Cannock Chase is an area in central England teeming with paranormal activity - including UFOs, black-eyed children, hell hounds, werewolves, etc. I first heard about it in this article, although it doesn't go into as much detail as I'd like, so for the sake of brevity I'll just give its link: https://www.ranker.com/list/cannock-chase-werewolf-sightings/hugh-landman?utm_source=sendgrid_newsletter&utm_medium=graveyardshift&utm_campaign=active Specific details about some of the sightings: Cannock Chase is a large densely woodland area which has become known as one the UK's most active paranormal hotspots. In recent times there has been reports of werewolves, UFO's and ghosts by the local residents. On April 26, 2007, the local Stafford Post newspaper ran the following story: "A rash of sightings of a 'werewolf' type creature prowling around the outskirts of Stafford, have prompted a respected Midlands paranormal group...
