Restored English Translation of Matthew: Chapter 6
At long last, here is my Restored English Translation (RET) of Matityahu (Matthew) chapter 6. As usual, it contains the Hebrew names, with a glossary of them at the end.

CHAPTER 6
1 “Take heed that you do not do your alms before men, to be seen of
them; otherwise you have no reward of your Father Who is in Heaven. 2
Therefore when you give alms, do not blow a shofar before you as the
hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may
receive glory from men. Truly I tell you, they have their reward. 3 But
when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand
is doing, 4 that your alms may be in secret. And your Father Who sees in
secret will reward you openly Himself. 5 And when you pray, you will
not be as the hypocrites are. For they love to pray standing in the
synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by
men. Truly I tell you, they already have their reward. 6 But you, when
you pray, enter into your chamber. And when you have shut your door,
pray to your Father privately, and your Father Who sees hidden things
will reward you openly. 7 But when you pray, do not use vain
repetitions, as the gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard
for their abundance of words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father
knows what things you need before you ask Him. 9 Therefore after this
manner you will pray: ‘Our Father Who is in Heaven, set-apart be Your
Name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth, as it is in
Heaven. 11 Give us our continual bread this day. 12 And forgive us our
debts, as we release our debtors. 13 And do not let us fall into
temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the Kingdom and the
Power and the Glory forever and ever and ever. Amen.’ 14 For if you
forgive men their sins, your Heavenly Father will also forgive your
sins. 15 But if you do not forgive men their sins, neither will your
Father forgive your sins. 16 And when you fast, be not like the
hypocrites, with a sad face; for they disfigure their faces that they
may appear to men to fast. Truly I tell you, they already have their
reward. 17 But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash you face,
18 that you do not appear to men to fast, but to your Father privately.
And your Father, Who sees in secret, will openly reward you. 19 Do not
lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust corrupt,
and where thieves break through and steal. 20 But lay up for yourselves
treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupt, and where
thieves do not break through or steal. 21 For where your treasure is,
there your heart will also be. 22 The light of the body is the eye; if
therefore your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light. 23
But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If
therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that
darkness! 24 No man can serve two masters, for either he will hate the
one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the
other. You cannot serve ELOHIM and mammon. 25 Therefore I say to you,
take no thought for your life, what you will eat, or what you will
drink; nor for your body, what you will wear. Is not the soul more than
food, and the body than clothes? 26 Behold the birds of the air; for
they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your
heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they? 27 Which
of you by taking thought can add one cubit to his stature? 28 And why do
you take thought for clothes? Consider the lilies of the field, how
they grow; they do not toil, neither do they spin. 29 And yet I say to
you that even Shelomoh in all his glory was not arrayed like one of
these. 30 For that reason, if ELOHIM so clothes the grass of the field,
which is today and tomorrow is cast into the oven, will He not much more
clothe you, you of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying,
‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘With what will we be
clothed?’ 32 (for the gentiles seek after all these things), for your
heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. 33 But
seek first the kingdom of ELOHIM, and His righteousness; and all these
things will be added to you. 34 Take no thought for tomorrow, for
tomorrow will take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient for
today is its own evil.Glossary
