Restored English Translation of Esther: Chapter 12

Today I present my Restored English Translation (RET) of Ester (Esther) chapter 12.  As usual, it contains the Hebrew names, with a glossary of them at the end.  I have also chosen to include the Aleph/Tavs in the text itself, despite my skepticism of them (mainly because it’s after 10:30 at night, and I just don’t feel like separating them and cataloguing them right now).
To clarify for anyone unaware: this is my own personal translation of the Bible, translated by me.

CHAPTER 12

1 On that day the king Achashverosh gave to Ester the queen את the house of Haman the Yehudim’s enemy. And Mordekai came before the king, for Ester had told who he was to her. 2 And took off the King את his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it to Mordekai. And set Ester את Mordekai over the house of Haman. 3 And Ester continued and spoke again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and wept and begged him to take away את the evil of Haman the Agagi, and את his plot that he had created against the Yehudim. 4 Then extended the king את the sceptre golden toward Ester. And Ester arose and stood before the king. 5 And she said, “If it is good to the King, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seems right before the king, and I am good in his eyes, let it be written to reverse את the letters schemed by Haman the son of Hammedata the Agagi, which he wrote to destroy את the Yehudim who are in all the king’s provinces. 6 For how can I watch the evil that will come to את my people? Or how can I watch the destruction of my kindred?” 7 Then the King Achashverosh said to Ester the Queen and to Mordekai the Yehudi, “Behold, I have given Ester the house of Haman, and him they have hanged on the wooden gallows, because he stretched out his hand against the Yehudim. 8 Write also for the Yehudim, as it pleases you, in the King’s name, and seal it with the King’s ring; for the writing which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, no man can reverse.” 9 Then the king’s scribes were called at that time in the 3rd month (that is the month Sivan) on the 23rd day of it. And it was written according to all that Mordekai commanded to the Yehudim, and to the governors, and the prefects and princes of the provinces which are from Hodu to Kush, 127 provinces, to every province according to the writing of it, and to every people after their language, and to the Yehudim according to their writing, and according to their language. 10 And he wrote in the king Achashverosh’s name, and sealed it with the king’s ring, and sent letters by posts on horseback, and riders on mules, camels, and sons of brood mares, 11 in which the king granted the Yehudim who were in every single city to gather themselves together and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish את all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both children and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey, 12 on one day in all the provinces of King Achashverosh, namely, on the 13th day of the 12th month, which is the month Adar.
