What is your favourite disaster movie?
That’s a tough one.  My three favourites are Deep Impact (1998), Armageddon (1998) and Independence Day (1996).

What is your favourite genre to read?
Thriller.  Especially a James Rollins thriller!

What movies do you most enjoy watching?
That’s a long list.  Independence Day 1 & 2, Star Wars (the WHOLE series is awesome), Clash of the Titans (the 2010 remake – awesome!), Die Hard (the WHOLE series – #5 is just as awesome as the others), The Scarlet Pimpernel (1982), The Mummy trilogy, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, Tim Burton’s Batman movies, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (especially Thor!), the DC Extended Universe, Jurassic Park (the entire series), Indiana Jones (the entire series), James Bond, King Solomon’s Mines (1950 & 2004 versions), Tut, Godzilla, Night at the Museum, and a WHOLE LOT of other films (those are the ones that immediately come to mind).

What is your favourite MCU character?
Loki.  Tom Hiddleston is a great actor.

Do you like Avengers: Endgame and The Lion King (2019)?
I haven’t seen Endgame yet, but I enjoyed The Lion King – especially in 3D!

Welcome to the 24th edition of My Fortnightly Movie/TV Thoughts .  Last fortnight, I reviewed Home Alone (1990).  This fortnight, I’m reviewing: Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker (2019), rated M for science fiction violence That of course is the Australian rating; in the United States, it’s rated PG-13 for sci-fi violence and action. Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker The Skywalker Saga has finally come to an end… for the 3rd time!  (This is the absolute final time… apparently.)  In 1983, it seemed – for years to come – that the saga had finally ended with Return of the Jedi .  Then, 16 years later the Prequels came along, and for the better part of a decade it seemed the saga ended with Revenge of the Sith in 2005 (arguably the best of the franchise).

The KJV Only movement is a belief on the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible - also known as the Authorised Version (AV) or the Authorised King James Version (AKJV) - that ranges from preferring it over other, later translations, to the belief that it's inspired, perfect, and superior to the original Hebrew & Greek texts, and that all other translations are intentionally corrupt, satanic, and unreliable.  The former is of course entirely a matter of personal preference & opinion, and you won't hear criticism of it from me.  The latter on the other hand... well, that's the focus of this article. The Revelation of the Aleph Tav

In the Bible, in the Book of Revelation, we read: “I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, says YEHOVAH ELOHIM [The Lord God], Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come, YEHOVAH of Hosts.” (Revelation 1:8) “I was in the Ruach [Spirit] on the day of YEHOVAH, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a shofar [ram’s horn trumpet], saying, ‘I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last.'” (Revelation 1:10-11a) (the speaker of Yehoshua/Jesus) “And He said to me, ‘It is done.  I am the Aleph and the Tav, the beginning and the end.” (Revelation 21:6a) “I [Yehoshua] am the Aleph and the Tav, teh beginning and the end, the first and the last.” (Revelation 22:13) That is what the Greek translations of the book (on which our English translations are based) says.  In the original Hebrew and its Aramaic translation, the verses clearly say, “I AM the Aleph and the Tav” .  The Aleph and the Tav are the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet – s
