Salvation can One lose it? And if that is possible Just How might One lose it?
There are some scriptures that give me definite pause when I consider
the Calvinist verses Armenian positions with regard to one being able
to lose Salvation.
“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.” 1 Chronicles 28:9 NASB
Obviously Solomon did not yet know the Lord at this point in his life, so this could be considered God’s call on his life. Seek and you shall find, but forsake and—-. And this is a big but. First let me say that you cannot earn you salvation by works, or by anything that you do except to believe what the Holy Spirit is…
